Over the weekend, the long awaited Afropalooza Festival came to pass in a two days show. The event took place at Lugogo Cricket Oval and it is said to have featured 60 artistes. Well no better count was made but the singers were many with day one being headlined by Rema, a singer from Nigeria and the second day was closed by Sauti Sol, male dominated group from Kenya.

The event had the ordinary section, the VIP and the VVIP sections. Not all sections were filled up although some sections were filled. There were two VVIP set ups one of Jameson and the other by Nile Special. The Nile Breweries Limited (NBL) tent was set up by one of the top events company known as Fenon Events. Even though Fenon wasn’t setting up the whole event, their job was to set up only the NBL VVIP tent and as usual, they did magic to it.

Everyone who got a chance to access the NBL Fenon tent didn’t want to go back to the other VVIP set up. It was evident that one day two, everyone found their way to the NBL tent because of reasons that were noted such as comfortability, good view of the stage and the free drinks that kept flowing for the two days courtesy of Nile Breweries Limited.
The tent was set a bit higher as it was for the other tents and it also had a roof to the extent that when it started drizzling, they were looked at by the other people in the VIP section as small Gods. The tent also had tight security; waitresses and ushers who made sure the guests were comfortable as they enjoyed the Afropalooza festival performances.
