In a display of musical fusion, Ugandan superstar Eddy Kenzo teamed up with American singer Chase Bell, Jamaican singer Suckarie, and Ghanaian rap icon Kwaw Kese to release the electrifying single “Twist.”

Released on June 10, 2025, under Big Talent Entertainment, this international collaboration is a testament to the power of music to transcend borders, blending Afrobeat, dancehall, and global pop influences into a three-minute anthem that’s both infectious and innovative.

“Twist” is a celebration of diversity, bringing together artists from four nations—Uganda, the United States, Jamaica, and Ghana—each contributing their unique musical flair. Eddy Kenzo, renowned for hits like “Sitya Loss” and “Tweyagale,” delivers his signature energetic vocals and dance-inducing rhythms, anchoring the track with his Afrobeat expertise.

Chase Bell infuses a smooth Western pop sensibility, adding a layer of accessibility that bridges the song to global audiences. Suckarie’s soulful Caribbean energy brings a dancehall vibe, while Kwaw Kese’s powerful rap verses, delivered in his distinctive Ghanaian style, add grit and intensity.

The song’s production, helmed by Eddy Kenzo and Chase Bell, with mixing and mastering by Jason JG Gilbert, is a seamless blend of these diverse influences. The result is a track that feels both fresh and familiar, with pulsating beats and catchy hooks designed to get listeners moving.

The official music video, directed by Edrine Paul and released on June 13, 2025, further amplifies the song’s vibrant energy, showcasing the artists’ chemistry and the cultural fusion at its core.

The collaboration came to life through a shared vision of creating a song that unites different musical traditions. Eddy Kenzo expressed his excitement about the project, stating on X, “I enjoyed working with my brothers Suckarie, Chase Bell & Kwaw Kese on this amazing record, TWIST.”

“Twist” is available on major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon Prime Music, Spotify, and YouTube, ensuring global accessibility.
