TV host Shadic Smith lands new gig

Local TV personality Shadic Smith Mateega is all smiles after landing a new gig.

We have learnt that Smith will be hosting a new entertainment show on BTM Television, a new local TV station delivering family friendly content in entertainment and sports.

Dubbed “B45 Show”, it premiers this week and will air every Monday to Friday from 3 to 5pm. According to Smith, the show will have three segments delivering entertainment news, deejay showcases as well as celebrity interviews.

“We shall have a three-in-one show with deejays, gossip/entertainment news and live everywhere and anywhere bringing new faces to TV that you haven’t seen anywhere,” he explained.

Smith will host the show alongside Kim JK and Renez Queen.

Shadic Smith has previously hosted the “Celeb Jazz” show on Delta TV, and most recently worked at Next Media as the entertainment show producer.
