Popular singer and media personality Tuff B has shared his views on why many journalists are joining politics, saying it is because they are close to the people and see their daily struggles.

“Most journalists who have joined politics have done so because they are always on the ground, seeing the challenges people face, and they want to take charge and help,” Tuff B said.

The singer, who is also known for his work in media, is among the Ugandan celebrities preparing to contest in the forthcoming general elections.

His statement comes at a time when several entertainers and media figures are expressing interest in political leadership, hoping to bring change to their communities.

Tuff B has not yet revealed the position he intends to run for, but he believes that people who are in touch with the public’s problems can make a real difference in politics.

The general elections in Uganda are expected to attract many new faces, especially from the entertainment and media industries.
