Beach Goers having a quality time at Spennah Beach

Popular Entebbe beach, Spennah was this week closed down for what the owners termed as expansion of a nearby hotel. But news coming in shows that this was just an excuse especially after the recent multi-drowning that occurred at the beach scaring away partiers.

From that time, we have been told that profits have gone down since most of the partiers and swimmers have stayed clear of the beach.

At the same time, Hotel Protea management had always wanted to get rid of the beach which it says has always been in the face of its clients who want to live in peace. When opportunity presented itself, Protea management contacted Spennah bosses to expand their hotels and no one could turn down a big offer in time of crisis.

We will keep you posted.
