The comedy community is in mourning following the passing of Cold Q, a well-known member of the renowned comedy duo, Crazy University.

Cold Q

Cold Q, whose real name goes by Lwanga, was pronounced dead after a prolonged illness that had confined him to life-support machines in recent months.

The comedian faced significant health challenges, which, unfortunately, were compounded by financial difficulties.

Unable to meet the high cost of medical care, Cold Q’s fellow comedians rallied to fundraise on his behalf.

They sought support from various brands and individuals, citing limited income streams within the local comedy industry.

MC Mariachi, a prominent comedian and friend of Cold Q, addressed the press, sharing that Cold Q’s treatment had been financially draining, with daily costs surpassing UGX 350,000.

Our condolences to the family and friends of Cold Q
