Ugandan songstress Tracy Melon has opened up about one of the most humbling moments in her music career — performing at a nearly empty venue.

“I once went to perform at a place and there was no one,” she shared during an interview on Galaxy TV.
“There were only two tables, and one of them was where I was seated. But I was given the option to either perform or not.”
Despite the discouraging turnout, Tracy chose to perform, showing her dedication to her craft.
The experience, though disappointing, did not break her spirit.
The singer, known for her soulful voice and emotional lyrics, said moments like these helped her grow stronger in the industry.
“I performed as if the place was full. That taught me that sometimes, it’s not about the crowd — it’s about passion and consistency,” she said.
Tracy Melon’s story is one that many upcoming artists can relate to — a reminder that the journey to success often begins in silence, but with persistence, the applause eventually follows.
