Upcoming singer Tracy Melon has opened up about what she values most in a potential partner—and surprisingly, it’s not money or looks, but something much deeper: empathy.

Speaking during a recent TV interview, Tracy Melon shared that emotional understanding is the trait most likely to win her heart.

“I want a man who is empathetic, a person who has a soft spot for others,” she explained. “There are people who look good, have money, but have a dirty heart. People are so cruel, so to me, empathy is key.”

For Tracy, empathy is the foundation of genuine love and kindness. She emphasized that a partner’s ability to connect with others’ experiences and emotions speaks volumes about their capacity to love and treat others with respect.

“You could be less confident—that grows with time—but a person who connects with other people’s experiences is a lover,” she said. “Empathy carries love, kindness; meaning you will not wake up and be rude towards me because you know how it feels to be in the same position.”

When it comes to deal breakers, Tracy was clear about her biggest red flag: a man who doesn’t believe in God. While she noted that regular church attendance isn’t a must, faith in a higher power is non-negotiable for her.

“A person who doesn’t believe in God… you might not go to church on Sunday, but believe that there is a supreme being above you. If you do not believe in the existence of God, that is a red flag to me.”
