Joe Manyire a producer at Top TV is now the manager of Uganda’s representative in the 2013 edition of popular TV show, Tusker Project Fame.
The 21 year old Daisy Ejangi who was among the top contestants in last year’s season chose Joe to help her take her music to the next level.
It has been observed that most TPF contestants disappear from the music scene as soon as they leave the big screen and the academy in Nairobi. Nonetheless, a number of artistes like Davis Ntare, Ester Nabaasa and Naava have managed to forge a music career out of TPF. Daisy also seems to be following in their footsteps.
We are told that she is now doing a tune with Naava Grey who also came into the lime light after TPF. Naava is currently signed to South African Sony Entertainment records.
Daisy is a Ugandan singer who made a big step into the Tusker Project Fame Academy. The youngest of 6 children, Daisy believes that she is an independent woman, who can take care of herself. Mentioned by a number of other contestants as ‘the voice to beat’ in last year’s competition, Daisy has a big voice. Daisy leads worship at Mavuno Church in Kampala. She is a soul singer at heart, and would love to do an album with that kind of tone.
