Top promoters in the diaspora have decried Ugandan artistes who make exorbitant demands and fail to deliver great performances.

According to some promoters based in London and USA, artistes charge exorbitant fees. Apart from this, most Ugandan acts demand for ridiculous items and lip sync when they perform.

One London based promoter said, “We would also ask and prefer that our artistes concentrate more on improving their acts for their fans because that’s really what this is all about. We ask that when artistes are putting shows together, they become musically involved and also have a stake in their own show.”
