Swangz Avenue has lined up Uganda’s top musicians for its special COVID-19 concert dubbed “UGANDA, Strong & United”.
The event is aimed at showing solidarity and spreading a message of hope through various representatives within the creative arts industry as well as celebrating and supporting the healthcare workers and administrators who are at the front line in the fight against COVID-19.
It will feature top Ugandan musicians including Ykee Benda, Sheebah Karungi, Vinka, Fik Fameica, Lydia Jazmine, and Winnie Nwagi among others.
“In these extremely challenging times, we would like to share our heartfelt support and solidarity with all Ugandans with a reminder of how resilient we are as a Nation.” Benon Mugumbya, Director Swangz Avenue said about the concert.
The event is slated for Sunday, May 3rd and will be streaming via the Swangz Avenue Facebook and YouTube platforms.
