Four Kenyan rap artists are now fighting over who is king when it comes to rapping.
Juliani, Octopizzo, Khaligraph Jones, and Rabbit King Kaka are embroiled in a war of words over who is better than who.
The battle started when Juliani challenged the rappers to come out and show who is King.
On the other hand, Octopizzo – famous for his track Number Nane – while appearing on Radio Citizen, said his brand was way too high and would not allow him to stoop low to collaborate with other Kenyan rappers.
Octopizzo and Khaligraph are said to be lyrically battling back and forth since the WAPI days.
WAPI, which was a regular event that brought together many artists and organized by the British Council in Nairobi, saw the two rappers flex their lyrical muscles.
In a recent interview, Octopizzo claimed that it was because of him that Kenyan rappers like Khaligraph remain relevant in the industry.
Khaligraph recently released a song under the banner “I run 254”, which has been viewed as targeted to Octopizzo.
However, the three rappers, Octopizzo, Khaligraph and Rabbit King Kaka took a photo together when attending an event in the capital.
The three artistes, who responded to the challenge by Juliani, took to Social Media where they engaged in banter over who is indeed the most talented rapper of the four.
Juliani has since challenged the three to choose a date when they can battle out to prove who is really the King of Rap.
