Today, we present to you several Ugandan musicians who didn’t quite give us what we expected this year. Here is a list of five musicians who have failed in 2016.
Judith Babirye
Music has not been good to Judith Babirye in 2016 as all the good ballads seem to be eluding her. The once adored gospel singer has not visited the studio even once this year to record a mega hit from the time she joined Parliament. 2016 has been one of her worst music years.
Diana Nalubega
Diana has made nothing from the industry this year. She is just a shadow of her former self that would release hit after hit. This year she has gained completely nothing from the music industry.
Juliana Kanyomozi
Music diva Juliana has been out of the game for some time to concentrate on private things. From the time she was rumoured to be pregnant, she has avoided people, remained in doors, and even failed to hit the studio all year. It is only recently that she decided to start making music again. This year she has surely not made anything from the industry.
Dr. Jose Chameleone
Musician Dr. Jose Chameleone has been on the scene for a long time. But this year, he didn’t reap as much as he thought he would in 2016. First was the elections that made everyone turn against him, then was the failure to host a concert. Although he plans to host one in March of 2017, Chameleone lost out a lot when he didn’t hold his annual concert in 2016.
Lilian Mbabazi
Musician Lilian Mbabazi didn’t stabilize this year as had been hoped. Despite help from fellow musicians who wirte her songs and support her, the singer has failed to match the kinds of Sheebah Karungi who owned the year.
