The year 2016 has brought a lot of joy to many Ugandan celebrity families. Several local celebrities welcomed babies and most tried to hide their cuties but somehow we found out. Here are the top five Ugandan celebrity babies of 2016.
1. Eleanor and Mathew Nabwiso
This couple met on set and immediately fell in love, several years down the road, they have a nice family with three babies. In 2016, baby number 3 was introduced to the world in August. The couple who got married in 2013 could be planning on another baby come next year.
2. Zari and Diamond Platnumz
Zari is dedicated to Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz and to show that dedication and love, she has decided to fill their house with babies, a year after she produced baby Tiffah, she dropped another tot in 2016. Yes, Zari gave Diamond a boy making them two children for them and five for her since she has three from a previous relationship.
3. SK Mbuga and Vivienne Birungi
This year, city tycoon SK Mbuga left his lover, Leila Kayondo for a more serious woman who is willing to settle down with her, Vivienne Birungi. The two didn’t waste time getting down to bedroom business and in August this year, Birungi gave birth to a baby girl for the tycoon. The two ended their year in style with a lavish wedding.
4. Irene Namatovu and Geoffrey Lutaaya
Da Nu Eagles got a new member this year when Irene Namatovu gave birth to a bouncing baby girl in January. The singer known for her song “Kuzaala Kujaagaana” gave birth at Bugolobi Medical Center in Kampala days after celebrating New Years. This is the third child that Namatovu is giving birth to. The singer told us that after giving birth to her baby gal, she now prays to God to help her seal it up with twins. Our prayers are with her.
5. Mary Luswata
Former motor mouthed TV star, Mary Luswata left Urban TV and went to London, she met a man and she gave herself to him thanks to the love they had for each other. In 2016, their love bore fruits as a baby girl was brought into this world in November. Congrats Mary.
