BigEyeUg brings you a list of musicians everyone would wish to hear from again. You may call them one hit wonders because after producing one hit they mysteriously disappeared from the music scene.
Zuena Kirema: After producing her song “Mata” with Eghiton and Rain Man, it became a hit and was loved by many ladies. She did a follow up song titled “Owa Boda” which did not get the expected reception from fans, hence she lost courage and quit music to concentrate on other things.
Samalie Matovu: Her song “Omukwaano Gunyuma” was a mega hit and was voted the song of the year in the Golden awards, but after this song, Samalie is yet find another hit.
Captain Dolla: The “Emesse” hit maker who did this song in S.6 vacation hasn’t added on any other hit after this one. He might be concentrating on his books since he joined Makerere University.
Angela Kalule: Only God knows where this “Katikiti” hit maker is right now, her song topped many music charts in Uganda and scooped many wedding deals when it was still a hit. The beautiful Angela hasn’t given us another hit since then.
Ziggy Dee: He was a Ugandan based in Kenya. He produced “Eno Mic”, a hit which is still remembered and played in some night spots; it was a club anthem during its time. He followed it up with “Sunda”, a collabo with Bobi Wine. But after the two songs, Ziggy Dee hasn’t done any other songs.
Others are; Phantom Lovins, Lady Mariam, Yiya Moze, Eghiton, Rain Man, among others.
