The long wait for the Sparrow Hawks came to an end today when they finally touched down in the country earlier in the day at the Entebbe international airport where they were received by FUFA Head of Protocol official, Boniface Oryema.
The Togolese contingent consisted of 17 players and 5 officials who arrived in a private jet KT 2040 to join teammate and English Premier league star striker, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor of Tottenham Hotspurs who had already arrived.
