TMR International Hospital launches IRIS Imaging Centre

TMR International Hospital proudly celebrated the launch of the IRIS Imaging Centre, a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging facility in Naalya, on Friday, October 25, 2024.

This new facility is poised to address the growing demands of Uganda’s healthcare sector by delivering advanced diagnostic imaging services that prioritize precision, efficiency, and compassionate patient care.

Attendees included healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and media representatives, all of whom experienced the center’s extensive range of imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and digital X-ray systems.

The guided tours allowed guests to witness firsthand how IRIS Imaging Centre’s capabilities will enhance diagnostic accuracy and elevate the standard of patient care.

Guests enjoyed an in-depth tour of the center’s innovative imaging technologies, with experts on hand to demonstrate the facility’s capabilities in improving diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.

Esteemed medical professionals and technology specialists delivered insightful presentations on the future of medical imaging, focusing on artificial
intelligence in diagnostics and the essential role of patient-centered care in radiology.

The official ribbon-cutting, led by prominent healthcare leaders, symbolized the inauguration of IRIS Imaging Centre, underscoring TMR International Hospital’s commitment to advancing healthcare quality in Uganda.

The event provided a unique networking platform,
encouraging industry stakeholders to explore potential partnerships and share ideas aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the region.

Concluding the evening was a reception with refreshments and entertainment, offering a relaxed atmosphere for continued discussion and professional connection.

Dr. Daniel Mitchell Talemwa, Executive Director of TMR International Hospital, expressed gratitude to the attendees, stating, “The launch of the IRIS Imaging Centre is a remarkable step forward in Uganda’s healthcare evolution. Our commitment is to deliver world-class diagnostic imaging services that align with international standards, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes across the region.”

The Chief Guest, Honourable Balaam Barugahara, commended the team at IRIS Imaging Centre for their commitment to quality healthcare and praised the initiative taken to unite healthcare centers in a shared mission to better serve their patients.
