One of Uganda’s renowned Tik Tok content creators Micheal Sebamba alias Mikey Seems2funny is set to release his first ever movie project.

Titled Kill List, the project is a short movie that was written and produced by Mikey alongside Ian David Owora, a Ugandan film director based in the UK.
According to Mikey, he will be releasing the movie but for now, he says he will only release the movie when it’s finally ready and that will depend on how fast the producer will be done with it.
The production of the movie started in November last year. Mikey also confirmed to this website that his initial idea was to produce a feature movie but he will begin with the short movie titled Kill List which will serve as a proof of concept to a soon coming fully fledged feature film.
Kill list is a story about betrayal and revenge. A man subjected to many sufferings and betrayal reaches his breaking limit and on a desperate attempt to search for an answer he loses the battle with his Dark side and goes on a killing spree to numb his pain.
Mikey plays the main character David a humble man turned devil faced with a philosophical question of “if a life has to go for every time I’m hurt why it should be mine?” The film aims to shed a light on the many evils men endure and dares to touch the untouchable topic of men’s mental health through adrenaline inducing action and skillful narratives.
For starters, Ian David Owora is a director, screenwriter and filmmaker from Mukono district, Uganda whose work explores themes of family relationships, redemption and self-discovery in visually driven nonlinear narratives inspired by personal life experiences and Ugandan folklore.
Owora began his journey into filmmaking with child of woe, a film about child abuse and domestic violence and known for his emotionally intensive dialogues and stunning visual portrayals. Passionate about sharing African stories to the world, Owora David believes in making a mark in the art of African storytelling and film art.
Owora attended school at Vision for Africa Primary School and then joined St Cyprian Kyabakadde High School for O’level and Bishop Cipriano Kihangire for A’level and joined Kyambogo University where he did a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Management.
Owora is currently in the UK but he reveals his plans for bringing the Ugandan film industry to the map by setting proper distribution channels and providing platforms for Ugandan and African filmmakers to tell their tales before any other person comes to tell them for us.
