As Uganda Celebrates it’s 58th Anniversary on Friday October 9, 2020. Armour Events in Partnership with Bonjour Kampala are having a three – day escape to Ssese Islands in Kalangala district.

According to the, the team leader of Armour Events , Abraham Mutalyebwa revealed that most Ugandans are not well versed with their country yet it is a richly endowed and is arguably the best tourist destination in Africa if not the whole world and that is why George Church called it the ” Pearl of Africa”.

” Most Ugandans are well versed with other places out side this beautiful country yet they have little or no knowledge about the magical Flora and Faura the Almighty God blessed us with”. He said.

He revealed that coastal places along the Indian Ocean such as Diani in Mombasa, Kunduchi , Daresalaam, Zanzibar receive plenty of tourists from Uganda yet the Islands in Kalangala can offer literally the same or even better at an affordable cost and are within the Country.

With the Advent of *COVID-19* Pandemic that brought the International and regional travels at a stand still aggressive domestic tourism is the only antidote to this. Mutalyebwa noted.

The much anticipated Escape to Ssese Islands dubbed “Kalangala here we come ” is one of the of most affordable Independence offers to enable Ugandans enjoy the epitome of nature, and will provide enable them whisk away to the nestled *Mirembe Resort Beach* over looking the calm waters of Lake Victoria at a paltry fee of UGX 220, 000 for three days.

There will alot of adventure coupled with nature walks, birding activities, games among others. So better grab that travelling back pack and hit the Islands.
