In recent days, a cloud of uncertainty and speculation has enveloped the Ugandan music scene as rumors continue to circulate about the supposed breakup of the popular singing duo, Kataleya and Kandle.

The controversy began when former Next Media journalist, Isaac Kawalya, also known as One Lord Kayz, initially shared information regarding the alleged split, only to later retract his statements.

Media personality, Calvin The Entertainer, also shed light on the situation, stating that the female duo has not disbanded but rather has been suspended by the Theron Music Label due to reported incidents of indiscipline.

Calvin emphasized that the suspension is in accordance with company policy, signaling a disciplinary action rather than a definitive separation.

Moreover, Calvin asserted that orchestrated misinformation is being disseminated in the media with the apparent motive of pressuring the label into releasing Kataleya and Kandle from their contractual obligations.

However, the Theron Music Label remains resolute in upholding its contractual agreements and has no intentions of prematurely severing ties with the singing duo.

In an unexpected turn of events, an anonymous insider has disclosed details about the challenging working conditions that Kataleya and Kandle have allegedly faced in recent days.

The source suggests that the management has deliberately created uncomfortable environments, coupled with intimidation tactics, raising concerns about the well-being of the talented artists.

The singing duo, who have been signed under the Theron Music Label for a decade, entered into a ten-year contract that has seen significant financial investments from the label.

Despite the substantial backing, Kataleya and Kandle are yet to complete three years under their current agreement, adding a layer of complexity to the unfolding narrative.

As the controversy deepens, fans and industry insiders alike are closely monitoring the situation, eager for further clarification on the status of Kataleya and Kandle’s professional relationship with Theron Music Label.

The ongoing developments highlight the challenges and complexities within the entertainment industry, emphasizing the importance of transparency and open communication in navigating contractual obligations.
