- Best Artist in Africa: Celebrating outstanding artistic talent on the continent
- Best New Artist in Africa: Showcasing emerging talent and fresh perspectives
- Best Content Creator in Africa: Honoring innovative content creators who are shaping the digital landscape
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the creative industry

YIAA has been held before in Nairobi, Kenya in 2021, Accra, Ghana in 2022, Durban, South Africa in 2023 and Goma, DRC in 2024. This year it will be held in Moroni, Comoros on November 22nd 2025 at the National Assembly( Parliament) of Comoros.
