Ugandan film actor and producer Hemdee Kiwanuka is once again raising the bar in international cinema as his highly anticipated action thriller, The Wrecker, is set for release this Halloween, October 31, 2025, across the U.S., including a limited theatrical rollout.
The powerhouse project, produced by Kiwanuka in association with Chasing Butterflies and ITN, features an impressive lineup of Hollywood stars including Tyrese Gibson, Harvey Keitel, Danny Trejo, Mena Suvari, and Chad Michael Collins.
Rising star Niko Foster takes on the lead role as Tony, a former Marine forced back into combat mode when his brother’s mistakes trigger a deadly chain of events with a ruthless crime syndicate.
Directed by acclaimed action filmmaker Art Camacho, The Wrecker delivers a high-octane narrative of resilience, loyalty, and survival.
Foster leads alongside Collins, with Gibson starring as Detective Boswell, Keitel as feared crime boss Dante, Suvari as Cheryl, and Trejo as Eduardo.
Supporting roles include Oleg Prudius, Doug Jeffery, and Ego Mikitas.
Behind the scenes, Hemdee Kiwanuka collaborated with top international producers Al Bravo, Mike Pizzimenti, Colin Bates, and Eduard Osipov to bring the vision to life. Executive producers include Niko Foster, Stuart Allson, and Elias Axume.
On the distribution front, AMP is handling foreign sales, while Quiver oversees domestic rights. Seismic is managing the U.S. theatrical release, with SeaFilm Entertainment providing P&A financing.
