NTV Uganda news anchor, Faridah Nakazibwe, has confirmed that she called it quits with her 60-year-old NRM Vice Chairman, Hajji Moses Kigongo.
Nakazibwe who through the tenure of her relationship with Hajji was not looking eye to eye with the Hajji’s daughter broke up with him a while back. “All I can tell you right now is that I broke up with him a while back,” the Masaka born who first lived in town after her senior four told a local tabloid.
When her friends were called up, they revealed the real reason why Faridah left all the money and love that she was getting from her man. Apparently, he wanted her to choose between TV and him. “Yes, we heard that the man asked her to leave her TV job and stay at home so that he would have more time for him. He also wanted her to stay out of the public eye and become a private person. She didn’t want this and this was one of the reasons why she walked out of the relationship,” said a close friend to the former IUIU student.
Another reason that we found out was that the Mass Communications graduate’s life had been made a living hell by the boyfriend’s family. Apparently his first wife and daughter made sure that Faridah would not rest and enjoy her time with Moses. “The daughter always attacked her and made her look bad. The two would never look eye to eye all through the relationship and she had planned to come back home from abroad this Christmas to give her a piece of hell for making her mother suffer because she stole the father of her two kids from her,” the close friend added.
Nakazibwe who couldn’t stand to be called a man snatcher who is ready to rest for less decided to call it quits and leave the family in peace as she enjoys her own peace.
We will keep you posted.
