Kampala is swimming in various events these days. Ruyonga had his #GloryFire Concert at Imperial Royal. Lilian had her first exclusive concert “Up Close and Personal” last Friday at Serena Hotel which was a huge success. The May Edition of Blankets & Wine was so much fun and the fans can’t wait for the next edition coming up end of September.
How does someone get to buy the tickets for these different events? Well, the traditional way was/is to go at a physical store where the event organizers would leave a certain amount of tickets to sell.
Another way is to sell tickets directly at the entrance, but that is always a bit risky. Those are the ways most people are used to purchase their tickets for concerts, parties, events.
Today, everything is much easier. One doesn’t even have to leave the house or office to get their tickets. No need to go through the hassle of traffic jam and waste a lot of time and money with public transports,taxis, bodaboda’s or one’s car.
In Uganda, Kaymu makes it very simple to buy tickets online. The organizers of the events just open up a shop on Kaymu, upload the artwork of their event tickets, add a description including the price and that’s it.
People can start order their tickets online on Kaymu and get them delivered at their doorstep for no charge. Can you believe that? It’s that easy!
