The Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) continues to blow the entertainment industry’s flag all around.
The few months old body is not only taking different verbal dimensions, but also sparking physical divisions amongst the creatives.
Different stakeholders of the entertainment business are all running through with different thoughts about it and one of them is Benon Mugumbya, a production director at Swangz Avenue.
Mr. Benon Mugumbya believes that the musicians federation is a legit and trustworthy body with strong and the best motives for Uganda’s entertainment industry.
However, according to his conversation with female artist Sheebah Karungi, a board member on the federation, the body is currently encountering challenges of being black mailed in the public.
“I spoke with Sheebah, and she assured me that the new music federation is not focused on money. She mentioned that they are facing challenges in clearing the perception that they are solely driven by financial motives. However, I believe they have genuine reasons and a deep love for the industry,” Benon Mugumbya said while on NTV The Beat Show.
Meanwhile, the UNMF continues with its efforts to align the entertainment industry especially concerning the Copyright Law theme.
