Ugandan born, UK-based singing brothers; Denis Mugagga and Daniel Sewagudde famously known as The Ganda Boys (Da Twinz) continue to set the pace.

Just after appearing on the 2023 Grammy nominations consideration list, The Ganda Boyz are at it again. They have done a rendition of the “Ekitiibwa kya Buganda” anthem with the Bogotà Philharmonic Orchestra.

Craig Pruess, the singing duo’s founder worked on the orchestral arrangement, while Daniel Cortés, a Grammy-nominated sound engineer, is currently finishing up the final mix.

“The Bogotà Philharmonic Orchestra has been recorded with a new orchestral arrangement by Ganda Boys founder member, Craig Pruess. The final recording is being mixed by GRAMMY winner Latino producer and engineer, Daniel Cortés,” The Ganda Boys stated.

The Ganda Boys are making a big step by organizing choirs from six continents of the world to collaborate on the anthem.

The musicians and brothers, based in the UK but playing traditional Ugandan instruments, they have been participating in a cross-cultural project exploring winter themes.

Appearing on BBC, they explained how the themes fit together.

“We bring a bit of sunshine right smack in the middle of winter!”

The Ganda Boys have been bringing their warm traditional sounds from Uganda to a musical exploration of mid-winter.

In Uganda, The Ganda Boys are popularly known for hits like; Nafunye, Ndeku, Midomo, Kitundu, Ddembessa and Ssente.
