Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic who also doubles as the Under-23 National team boss says the game against Rwanda is far from over.

Micho who looks eager to correct his mistakes by guiding the youngsters into the Africa U-23 finals in Senegal come December 2015 having failed to send the Kobs into the All Africa games earlier on this year when they lost to Mozambique.

“The game is far from over. Rwanda can come to Nakivubo and score two goals so we need to rectify our mistakes in the remaining days,” Micho told the Daily Monitor.

Uganda hold the advantage over Rwanda having won the first leg by 2-1 at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali city.

However Micho’s counterpart Jonathan Mckinstry, Rwanda’s coach hailed the maturity displayed by the Ugandan side. Mckinstry also mentioned that his side is in a difficult situation even when they need to come to Nakivubo and turn results around if they are to progress to the next level of the competition.

“I don’t remember Uganda creating so many chances apart from the two goals they scored. We have to go to Kampala and score two goals but there is no doubt that we are in a very difficult situation,” Mckinstry said.

With the return due Saturday at the Nakivubo stadium in Kampala, the Kobs resume their training today seeking to defend their 2-1 lead advantage. The victor after both legs will continue to face off with Egypt at the next stage of the competition in a two leg encounter before one books themselves a slot at the finals that will be played in Senegal come December 2015.

Kobs’ starting xi during the first leg: Jamal Salim, Joseph Nsubuga, Shafik Bakaki, Ibrahim Kiyemba, Brian Ochwo, Derrick Tekkwo, Tom Maiko (Martin Kiiza), Keziron Kizito (Tadeo Lwanga), Farouk Miya, John Semazi, Erisa Sekisambu (Mazamiru Mutyaba)
