The button down look, is the look to die for, and one that any fashion conscious man, must been wearing. Not just because Kanye West and Jay Z have embraced the trend, but because it is hip, stylish and definitely cool.
However, you will need the right kind of shirt, to be able to pull the look nicely and come off looking well-polished. Opt for the peter pan color shirts, as these pull this look off better.
The shirt, first and foremost needs to be slim fitting, and not loose. It would also be wise to opt for the printed shirts; these are bound to make the better statement.
Whether you choose to have your shirt, ensure that the shirt you choose blends in well with your bottoms. Whether you opt for denims, chinos, or shorts, mini pleated skirts, ensure that your bottoms are well fitting, if possible slim.
In order to make your look, more sleek, you can decide to add some jewelry like chains, neck pieces, chokers and collar necklaces for the females.
Keep in mind though, that the button down collar is the statement in your look, so don’t over shadows it with hideous jewellery, and over the board accessories.
