The Elite Category of the FUFA Junior League kicked off their new campaign over the weekend with 13 and 21 goals scored in the Hat trick and Treble groups respectively.

Four matches were played in each group on Saturday as the second edition of the U-17 league marked its start.

In the Treble group, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Juniors Team made headlines when they humiliated Maroons Juniors Team 8-0 while Vipers sports club Junior Team made a party of their own as they beat The Saints youngsters 5-1.

Elsewhere, SC Villa Jogoo Junior Team thumped Simba Juniors 3-0 during their visit to Bombo in the same pool.

In the Hat-trick group, Jinja based side, BUL FC Junior Team defeated Sports club Victoria University Juniors 5-1 at Kakindu stadium.
