1. Zari was born on the 23rd of September 1980 and that makes her 33 years old.
2. In 2007, Zari did her first single called ‘Oliwange‘ which was voted among top ten best East African videos of the year by Channel O in the same year. Two years later in 2009 she scooped the Diva award of the year in the Diaspora category.
3. She is born to an Indian mother and Somali dad. Zari grew up in Jinja where she also attended Jinja girls high School before heading to London to do a diploma in cosmetology.
4. She lives with her three lovely sons Pinto, Didy and Quincy. She is an entrepreneur in South Africa where she owns a tertiary college and cosmetics shop in Pretoria.
5. Zari was once Uganda’s self proclaimed most beautiful woman until lately when she is slowly giving in.
6. She divorced her husband Ivan Ssemwanga with whom they had cohabited for long and now enjoys an intimate relationship with one Farouk Ssempala.
7. Zari was a karaoke girl before she moved to South Africa. She has not dropped the vice as it still manifests in her annual White parties she brings to Uganda every year.
8. She weighs 71 kgs and is 160 cms tall, just the perfect dimensions for a woman her age.
9. She is one of Uganda’s known most beautiful women of her generation. Bride and groom magazine put her fourth most beautiful Ugandan lady.
