Temask Holdings private LTD, a leading investor of e-commerce retail platforms in Asia pacific (APAC) has today announced it will be replacing Goods Express operations in Uganda. As of now Goods Express Uganda website is temporary unavailable and will not be taking customer orders. THP LTD a company, which prides itself on crafting a unique comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform that will power east Africa’s most prominent online retail website has tied up with Goods Express Ugandan counterpart to allow consumers to directly buy Goods or services from a seller over the Internet and ship its products to Uganda and other countries of East Africa.

From clothing to medications and supplements, technology to home furnishings, almost anything imaginable can be bought online and shipped right to a customer’s home. The new Brand’s unique selling proposition will include real-time tracking – Quora, delivery via drones for areas in rural & remote places, personal assistant (Echo), physical payments for small business, inventory management etc. Even better, the online app will allow anyone to set up a simple online shop within and sell products within minutes, empowering trader’s interactiveness.

Moses Ihoza, country representative of the Acacia Avenue based Goods Express in Uganda had this to say, “We are delighted with our new partnership and look forward to introducing a Superior online retail Brand to Uganda’s market and beyond into East Africa. There is a synergy between our two brands that we feel will result in a profitable relationship for the both of us, above all is to meet and exceed our customer expectations. We have already integrated their unique tools into our online sites and will launch a new brand as early as December 2017.”

“Previously the Goods Express Uganda online platform & partnership had been tainted with increased purchase returns, inability to track products in real-time and delayed deliveries. Worse still, an inflexible & restrictive/centralised system which for us is a major challenge given the need for us to be flexible enough to meet our customer diverse needs. It was inevitable for us to terminate our Nigerian partnership and seek a superior system as compared to what we could do as Goods Express Uganda,” Ihoza added.

The Internet has revolutionized the way Ugandans shop. Because of the numerous advantages and benefits, more and more people these days prefer buying things online over the conventional method of going into stores of which needless to say lacks variety.

There is no better place to buy informational products like e-books, which are available to you instantly, as soon as the payment goes through. Downloadable items purchased online eliminate the need for any kind of material goods at all, which helps the environment!
