Tecno Mobile has confirmed reports that it is planning to launch a device billed as the greatest camera phone in Uganda. TECNO Senior Executives said the Tecno Camon C9 could be available in the country in July.
“Tecno Camon C9 will be the best camera phone in Africa. Its front camera is second to none in the world,” TECNO Senior Executives told the Tecno Team in Uganda, on May 26th 2016.
“The Tecno Camon C9’s front camera is uniquely placed at the center of the screen. This will be exceptional for selfie lovers as the photos will appear outstanding and life like,” he said.
It is speculated to have 13 megapixels with double flash, just like the rear camera. This magnificent camera phone is purportedly to have a wide angle capture technology and enhanced Picture Noise Reduction capability that you can ever imagine. Nightlife will simply be captured flawlessly and in crisp clarity with finesse that you can only get from Tecno Camon C9.
TECNO Senior Executives declined to confirm or deny saying it will be made public at the right time but he added, “All I can tell you it’s made for Africa…black is beautiful. This is a technology that will capture the African beauty in a way that no other camera can!! Its camera technology will revolutionize the perception about other camera phones. That’s all I can tell you for now”.
Tecno Camon C9 comes in three colors, Champagne Gold , Elegant Blue, Sandstone Black. The price of the Camon C9 has not yet been announced in Uganda, however once the device arrives all information will be revealed.
The Country Manager for Uganda could still not disclose the Tecno Camon C9 features but the photos and Tecno C8 specifications give a hint.
From the photos shared; one can tell that the Tecno Camon C9 still has the 13 megapixels rear camera with slight change in the flashes; they have been merged.
Camon C8 has a powerful 1.3GHz Quad-core processor. Our source had revealed that the Tecno Camon C9’s processor could be way much faster than this.
Other specifications of the Camon C8 that one can expect to find (or improved) in the Tecno Camon C9 are: 16 GB ROM; 2 GB RAM; expandable MicroSD up to 128 GB; and a powerful 3000mAh battery.
