East Africa’s King of interviews – Lil Ommy, Tanzania’s top radio personality is making yet another career milestone as he unveils his brand new TV show – The Livingroom. Popularly known as the MVP, he will get to sit and chat with some the most notable names in the entertainment industry about their lives and careers on the new show. The TV show will also incorporate movies and music video reviews as well as games on-set.
The ecstatic presenter confirmed that majority of the back end work has been completed in preparation for launch of the new show and promised to reveal the channel on which the show will air soon! He says, “I have done a lot of radio interviews on my show The Playlist. In 2019 I’m unveiling my new TV show. I’ll be giving my fans more this time around reviewing movies, music videos, play a few games sometimes but most importantly, get to chat with your favorite celebrities.”
The new TV show comes off the back of a successful 10-year stint as a radio host on Times FM – The Playlist where he has hosted some of the biggest music personalities. Some of the stars that have graced his show include, Morgan Heritage, Vanessa Mdee, Sauti Sol, Diamond Platnumz, Nyashinski, Nasty C among others. His knack for promoting and highlighting what’s hot, trendy and a versatile mix of artists has seen most of his interviews go viral across social media networks. Besides his own show, Lil Ommy has also co-hosted radio shows in Kenya on Citizen Radio Mambo Mseto, Homeboyz Radio, NRG radio, Hot 96 Radio, Citizen TV and in South Africa on Ukhozi Fm and SA FM.
Lil Ommy as many call him THE KING OF INTERVIEWS, has also consistently curated online content with most recently hitting over 300,000 subscribers and over 30 million views on his YouTube channel – LilOmmyTV, earning him a YouTube Silver Button Plaque towards the end of 2018.
