Tanzanian star Diamond has announced that he will be releasing two videos at once today Monday July 7th for the first since he began his career, a feat that he says is meant to honor his mum’s birthday which falls on the same day.
In a message to his fans Diamond said, “As Iam celebrating my lovely mum’z birthday this Monday, I will also release my 2 videos at once” One of the videos he is set to release is that of his new track “Mdogo Mdogo”.
Diamond is fresh from attending BET Awards in the US where he lost out to Nigeria’s Davido. This gave way to speculation that the singer may have snubbed an invitation by Davido to join him on stage as he accepted his award. Diamond’s manager sought to clarify the issue saying that the Tanzanian musician had not arrived at the venue when Davido was announced winner.
His last video “Number One” was shot in South Africa and has ruled charts for weeks since its release. He takes a different turn with Mdogo Mdogo where he has used a caucasian model perharps to woo his international fans.
