Just a few days after Sports Club Villa’s grand 40th anniversary celebrations, the ‘Blues’ have been invited to take part in the Simba Day cup in which they will play against Tanzania’s Simba Sports Club on Saturday 8th August 2015 at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam.

The Jogoos left today for Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam where the game will be played. Confirming the development was the new club’s Public relations Officer (PRO), Abu Zikusooka yesterday after SC Villa’s 1-0 victory over Soana at Villa Park on Tuesday evening.

The team will be traveling by bus and fly back on their return journey. Villa are now travelling to Tanzania for the second time in this year’s pre-season. Their first trip was upon invitation by Tanzania’s Yanga Africans to which they played goal-less in the Albino awareness match last month.
