A Tanzanian artiste has been accused of shoplifting from one the supermarkets in Kenya.
Yassin Ali Wanga, 37, allegedly stole six Aliya Feston plates valued at Sh2,100 from a popular supermarket along Thika Road on October 31.
The accused was spotted by security officers who saw him hiding the plates in his private parts. He was allegedly stopped by the security officers as he exited the store and arrested before being escorted to a police station where the plates were recovered.
He however denied the charges and was released on a Sh5,000 bond. The case will be mentioned on November 17.
