Tanzania national football team is expected to arrive today in the country ahead of their clash with Uganda Cranes this Saturday(4th July) in the 2016 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) preliminary qualification round.
The development follows a formal communication from the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) confirming that they will be touching down today.
“A contingent of 31 people (20 players and 11 officials) will leave Tanzania on 2 July 2015 from Dar es salaam. They are expected at Entebbe International Airport at around 9:30 pm aboard Rwanda Air,” reads a confirmation statement on the federation’s website.
Reports reaching our desk indicate that Mr. Martin Chacha is already in Kampala to arrange for the Taifa Star’s arrival ahead of the CHAN 2016 Qualifier return leg between the two sides at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium this weekend.
