Tamale Mirundi Jr is beginning to see the value of family, just a week after being disowned by the clan and elders of his family.
In his latest remarks, he emphasized that family is priceless, stating that no amount of money can ever replace it.
Tamale Jr had a complicated relationship with his father, the late political analyst Tamale Mirundi. Their interactions were often marked by small fights and public arguments, but despite these conflicts, they always found a way to reconcile. His father, Tamale Mirundi, was known for defending and supporting him, even when he was in the wrong. Their bond was undeniable, as they remained close throughout.
After the death of Tamale Mirundi, the family sought to mend fences by apologizing to individuals his father had wronged or had disagreements with during his lifetime.
However, Tamale Mirundi Jr chose not to participate in these apologies, stating that his father had never asked him to apologize for the wrongs he committed.

To Tamale Jr, his refusal to apologize doesn’t indicate a lack of understanding of family values. He asserts that while family is invaluable, not every family member is well-intentioned. He acknowledged the presence of bad-hearted individuals within families but emphasized that this reality shouldn’t overshadow the importance of those who genuinely care.
“Family is priceless, no amount of money can buy it,” he stated. “However, that doesn’t blind us from seeing family members that are bad-hearted. We know their intentions are never good, but we don’t talk about them.”
