Former presidential press secretary, Tamale Mirundi was yesterday allowed back on air after ‘peace talks’ with Uganda Communication Commission Executive Director, Godfrey Mutabaazi.
Mirundi who first appeared in a video a few days back assuring the country that he was not going to ‘bend low’ for anyone including Mutabaazi even if it was the only way to get him back on air. However, Mirundi was forced to chew his words when he was escorted by NBS TV’s Kin Kalisa, Star TV’s Mulindwa and Top Radio’s Steven Dunstan Busuulwa to beg for a pardon.
UCC executive director Godfrey Mutabaazi allowed Mirundi back on air on condition that he won’t be using abusive language anymore.
“We don’t want to hear Mirundi or any one being hosted on air to use any vulgar language or attacking anyone,” Mutabaazi said in an interview.
