Vipers Sports Club’s attacking winger, Paul Mucureezi is finally off the hook after walking down the aisle with his longtime girlfriend, Swabale Khainga.

The scientific wedding on Saturday afternoon at St. Francis Chapel, Makerere University, saw Paul and Swabale take their lifetime vows witnessed by a few close friends and family members.

This owed to the Ministry of Health’s set guidelines in curbing COVID-19 pandemic in Uganda.

It comes-in a few days after their scientific introduction ceremony that took place at Swabale’s parental home in Mukono.

The Ankole-born talent and now wife, have since been showered with conrotatory messages from friends.

This includes his  current club, Vipers Sports Club.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Mucureezi!!! May God bless this marriage and bring many blessings upon your new family, @MucureeziP.”

Congratulations to our player Paul Mucureezi who got introduced by his longtime girlfriend Swabale Khainga to her parents today in Mukono. We wish both of you the very best in this new chapter,” stated Vipers SC on their official social media.

Paul Mucureezi joined Vipers Sports Club on a three-year contract from Mbarara City FC on January 3rd 2020.

The 27-year-old Cranes international winger is a versatile midfielder-cum-forward.

Fik Fameica responds to his suing allegations over “My property” song

Ugandan rapper Walukagga Shafik better known as Fik Fameica has opened up his music and branding, especially attempts made by a one Prasidia Nagasha petitioning the High Court civil Division to ban his song “My property” saying the song equates women to property worth purchasing and owning.

In a television interview, Fik explained that he has not been served any summon and that it is all rumor.

He also says that his music comes first and that is why he struggles so hard to keep his brand.

My music is my life and therefore I cannot let anybody take it way. People need to understand that making a brand is not easy. Personally, I do not socialize so much because I know what that comes with.

He further added that he makes sure he does not involve himself in fights since that is also one way to failure.

I am an artiste not a fighter and I don’t really think it pays off being in musical fights. I joined this industry to push my talent and that’s what I am doing,” he stressed

The “Omu Bwati” hit maker also said that artistes should instead engage in healthy competitions not just verbal fights.

Artistes should get done with these verbal fights because they do not add anything to music,” he concluded.

Singer Sheebah Karungi openned up a new season of Club Beatz wity an epic performance over the weekend where she entertained her fans countrywide in a virtual performance. Sheebah who together with Crysto Panda appeared for the first time on the show did not disappoint as they performed their hit single “Kyolina Omanya” a song that every one was waiting on.

This season will be hosted by Douglas Lwanga and just lioe Sheebah he made his maiden appearance over the weekend.

Sheebah started her performance with her ballards Muwe, Nyanda, Empiki, Tevuunya and Beera nange.

This season’s Club Beatz will come every fortnight and we are looking forward to the next edition.

Sensational singer cum politician Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and wife, Barbra Itungo celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary last week.

The anniversary themed as a top highlight of the week, the couple being one of the most celebrated in the country.

During Bobi’s interview on Spark TV on that day, he opened up on the unforgettable moment in his 19year old relationship with Barbie.

The Kyadondo East constituency legislator said, he can’t forget the day he found out that Barbie had obtained a tattoo of his photo on her back.

He revealed that he felt so special and this is the best applause ever he has got from anyone in the world.

Barbie aquired a tattoo of my picture at her back. I can’t forget that moment for my entire life. Nobody has ever hailed me that way. It made me feel so special,” said Bobi Wine.

Bobi also said that Barbie’s act preached deeply inside his heart and built his confidence that no one would ever ruin again.

That affected my confidence as a person, it’s when I realized that I deserve all the best and no body can ever bring me down through discouragement,” he added.

From that moment, all his achievements have been because of strong belief that Barbie gave him.

The two met in 2001 a time Kyagulanyi was at Makerere University studying Music, Dance and Drama whereas Itungo was a S6 student at Bweranyangi Girls’ Senior Secondary School.

Barbie and Bobi are happily married with four kids.

“A few good friends” an organized group of poetic rappers have dropped a new single “Nkowola” which has featured singers AJ Stylz, Spyder MC, Luganda Xlz, and Akongo Wero.

Nkowola was produced by Nase Avatar and Mixing & Mastering by Dawoo. Nkowola dropped yesterday and has already received a good reception from music lovers and fans across the country as it is enjoying a good portion of airplay.
