Uganda Premier League table leaders Police FC will be in action today afternoon when they pay a visit to Kiira Young at the Wankukuluku stadium. Having put an end to SC Villa’s unbeaten run earlier this week on Tuesday with a 2-1 win at home (Kavumba Recreational Stadium, Wakiso), Police FC will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run and probably a comfortable stay at the top of the table if they can beat Kiira young this afternoon.
Police FC are in the driving seat of the 16-team log with 7points from three games played, followed by Bright stars with similar points and SC Villa in third position.
Baker Lukooya who made it to the Uganda Cranes squad that will be facing Togo in a week’s time together with Brian Nkuubi, Marlon Tangawuzi and Derrick Teko will be the men coach Paul Nkata will be looking up-to to bring Police’s unbeaten run to end at the Wankukuluku stadium.
Meanwhile, coach Angelo Lonyesi of Police FC will be trusting his on-form striker Umar Kasumba to lead his attack.
Elsewhere, Vipers will be away to Entebbe FC at the Lugogo stadium. Vipers who are yet to concede any goal will be playing their second match of the season following their 1-0 late win against Simba last week. Matia Lule, the U-17 national team coach will on the bench for Entebbe FC to face off with coach Golola of Vipers.
Waswa Bossa’s men of Express FC will be traveling to Jinja to face off with Sadolin FC who remain unbeaten following their two successive draws in two opening matches while Jinja based Bul FC will clash with Simba FC who are under the charges of National team goal keeping coach Fred Kajoba.
