Former Miss Uganda who handed over the Miss Uganda crown in 2012 earned a 2nd runner up position at the Miss Global Beauty pageant grand finale that was held at Sunset Beach Resort, Spa and Water Park in Montego Bay, Jamaica last weekend.
The 25 year old lady who graduated from MUBS with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management was among the 31 contestants who competed in the pageant.
Sylvia Namutebi has been rare on the social scene and masses have been wondering where the former beauty queen could be.
Well, our sources have been reliably informed that Sylvia has been pursuing her career in modelling and even represented the country in the Miss Global beauty pageant whose finale was last week. She emerged second runner up the behind Bahama’s Lashanda Wildgoose and Singapore’s Jody Liu who took the top crown.
“I consider it a blessing for me and my country,” said Sylvia. She further revealed that she was shocked that she had made it to the top five.
