Swangz Avenue and House of Djs have announced a special COVID-19 concert dubbed “UGANDA, Strong & United”.

The event is aimed at showing solidarity and spreading a message of hope through various representatives within the creative arts industry as well as celebrating and supporting the healthcare workers and administrators who are at the front line in the fight against COVID-19.

“In these extremely challenging times, we would like to share our heartfelt support and solidarity with all Ugandans with a reminder of how resilient we are as a Nation. This is tough but will definitely pass and we should together start plotting recovery and living post Covid-19. We are strong United.” Said Benon Mugumbya, Director Swangz Avenue.

The “Uganda Strong & United” event will be streaming online on multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The event will be broadcast on Sunday, May 3rd, from 12 pm to 7pm.
