Swangz All-star tour

The Swangz All Star Tour is headed to Mbale this weekend courtesy of Bell Jamz in a huge showcase of the best of Ugandan music. The event will feature performances from Bebe Cool, Winnie Nwagi, A Pass, Vamposs, French Nezza, Rexy, Inspector Jill and many more. The event will be held at Mbale SS Grounds with tickets at 10k only.

Swangz Avenue and Bell Jamz announced a partnership last month to present a three months national music celebration dubbed “The All Star Tour 2018”. The activity coincides with the 10 year anniversary of Swangz Avenue, a renowned local music and production powerhouse.

During this event, organizers will also be scouting for new talent and intend to give an opportunity to new and upcoming artists from Mbale to showcase their talent. The best will stand a chance to perform at the grand finale in Kampala on 31 st August.

Swangz Avenue started out in the suburbs of Makindye in Muswangali by a group of musical friends who were bound together by the passion of music and has worked with the likes of Radio and Weasel, GNL Zamba, Raba Daba, Navio, Keko, Vamposs, Aziz Azion and many more and together created a new sound and wave of artists that would go on to be hugely celebrated for the next 10 years.

They have also groomed and nurtured artists like Irene Ntale, Winnie Nwagi and more recently Vinka, turning them into widely celebrated music stars.
