Ugandan motorsport driver Susan Muwonge who became the first woman to ever win the National Rally Championship has withdrawn from the impending Independence Rally slated this weekend in Mukono which will see 35 drivers take part and will cover 395km.
The second last event on the Federation of Motor sport in Uganda’s calendar has missed the lady dubbed “Super lady” by her fans when she publicly announced her ineffectiveness thereafter pulling out of the Uganda independence rally.
Suzan has mentioned that she has hadn’t enough preparation to participate in this year’s rally saying she has been having a busy schedule of late but noted that she will be ready by next year.
“This year I haven’t been so active and I will not participate in the independence rally going to happen this weekend but I am preparing for next year .The car is in good condition and I am yet to test it,” said Suzan Muwonge.

Jas Mangat is leading the National Rally Championship able with 119 points while Ronald Ssebuguzi is in second position.
