Sudan expected to jet in today ahead of Uganda Cranes clash

The Falcons of Sudan are expected to jet into the country today ahead of their clash with the Uganda Cranes in the first leg of the third round qualifiers of the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).

A contingent of 30 visitors is expected to touch down today following the arrival of the Sudanese’s advance team led by Hisham Gumaa who confirmed the development.

“Hisham Gumaa, a representative of the delegation jetted in yesterday afternoon while the rest of the team flies in today (14th October) at 1pm aboard Ethiopian Airlines. The visitors will be accommodated at Grand Imperial Hotel,” reads an official statement on the FUFA website.

Uganda entertains Sudan on Saturday 17th at the Nakivubo Stadium with the game expected to kick off at around 4:00pm before heading to Khartoum for the second leg that is slated for the 24th-25th October weekend.

African Nations Championship (CHAN) 3rd round, 1st Leg:
Uganda vs Sudan
Charges: 10,000/- and 20,000/-
