I’m going to let you in on a little secret: You’re missing out on lots of chances to get laid. How do I know? Just trust me — as a woman, I know. See, while you may buy a woman a drink or use a pickup line when you’re interested, women tend to be far more subtle when it comes to seduction. As a result, you’re probably not catching all of the signals we’re throwing your way. So how can you tell when she wants you to f**k her and when she wants you to f**k off? Just look for these easy-to-spot (once you know to look for them) signals …
1. SHE TOUCHES HERSELF
Jesus, not like that. When she tantalizingly places her fingers anywhere between her clavicle and her breasts, she’s trying to turn you on. You may have also heard that if a woman plays with her hair she’s looking for you to make a move, but this is a little murky. While it isn’t a bad sign if she’s playing with her hair — a lot of women do this habitually — don’t base your decision to steal second based solely on her hair-fondling habits.
2. SHE TOUCHES YOU
Touching you on the arm is nothing to brag about. But touching your chest or anywhere within a one-foot radius of your man-parts is a safe bet that she wants more than conversation from you. Also pay attention to how she’s touching you: Patting equals “You’re such a pal!” while rubbing or resting her hand on you for more than a few seconds equals, “Want to see what’s under my bra?”
3. SHE TALKS ABOUT SEX
She’s probably not going to say something as blatant as, “I really miss getting laid; it’s been sooooooo long.” But a woman will sometimes drop things in conversation to make sure you know we’ve got sex on the mind. If she says anything that’s more than a passing mention about sex, it’s probably a good indication that she’s interested in having it with you. 4. SHE SHOWS YOU SOME SKIN
I’m not saying she’s going to lift up her shirt Mardi Gras-style — if she does, get the check and suggest going to your place — but if you catch a better view of her cleavage when she leans forward or her shirt slips down a bit and she doesn’t fix it immediately, it’s likely on purpose. This move is basically the female equivalent of giving you the thumbs up. Same goes for if she gives you a clear line of sight to her inner thigh.
5. SHE WAITS FOR YOU AT THE END OF THE NIGHT
Even if a woman wants you, most of them aren’t going to send an invite and roll out the red carpet. Part of the fun of seducing a guy is getting him to admit how much he’s dying to have you. But if the bar or party is clearing out and she’s still by your side — and you’ve noticed at least a couple of the other signs I’ve already mentioned — don’t wait for an invite in the mail.
