Local dance-hall singer Ziza Bafana recently hit out at veteran singer Bebe Cool indicating that his new music style has taken over the industry.
While doing an interview recently, the Akalulu singer said that his style of ragga which is a blend of original ragga and a newer version called Triplet has made Bebe Cool’s music less popular.
“The style of music I do is similar to Bebe Cool’s only that the way I fuse mine has made his less popular. But I don’t have any problem with Bebe Cool,” Bafana said.
He added that he respects the top artistes even though they sometimes don’t respect themselves because even their children cannot support their fathers.
It should be noted that Bafana has over the years released several hit songs, some of which include Pomini, Gyayo Ntekeyo, Gulumanasomye, Bantu Baffe ft. Saha, Friendly Match ft. Zanie Brown, Shy Gal ft. Naira Ali, Agende, Byagana ft. Goodlyfe and Tuli Majje among others.
