Eddy Kenzo’s rise to stardom seems to have stirred more cold wars between him and other musicians that helped him get to the top.
Musicians like Mikie Wine and Stipperman are said to have played a pivotal role in his career despite not getting the deserved recognition from the “Sitya Loss” singer.
Stipperman is not happy after Kenzo refused to mention him any where while performing at hotel Africana in his Mbilo Mbilo concert.
“I gave him a chance that others had denied him. I recorded a song with him and later hooked him up with Mikie Wine and he got a break though hit, I deserved recognition,” cried Stipper.
Its said that Stipperman was the one who discovered Eddy Kenzo during Mr Sabrinas where Aziz Azion, Jamal and Stipperman were once winners more than 5 years ago. Kenzo started working with Stipperman on different gigs and later recorded a song together dubbed Nfuba nkole.
However, they fell out after popular TV presenter Straka Mwezi refused to host Kenzo on her show back in the day where she had invited Stipper who came along with Kenzo.
Kenzo had informed his friends to watch him on TV and when he was denied a chance, he turned the swords to Stipper who had taken him to the TV station. He accused Stipper of conniving with Straka not to allow him a platform.
