Recently rumors have been spreading like wild fire that Chagga who succeeded Jeff Kiwa as the manager of the dynamic duo Radio and Weasel would be replaced by the newly recruited Lawrence Labejja, Bobi Wine’s ex-manager. However on reaching Chagga, he dismissed all the rumors pointing out that he is the one who actually hired Labejja.
This comes after the former Firebase crew longtime manager and friend to CEO Bobi Wine was fired on grounds of mishandling funds. On hearing this, the former GoodLyfe boys didn’t wait for a second, they quickly grabbed the experienced promoter and manager off street and hired him. This implied a threat to singer Chagga who was the interim manager after the sacking of Jeff Kiwa.
Chagga has come out to clarify that Labejja is just merely an operations manager. “He is in charge of vending music and booking performances since he has experience in such things,” Chagga said.
